This Privacy Policy explains what information is collected when you visit tufayelhossain.com (the "site"), how it is used, and the choices you have. The site is operated by Tufayel Hossain ("I", "me"). If you do not agree with this policy, please stop using the site.
What I collect
I do not ask you to create an account or hand over personal details to browse the site. Information is collected automatically through the analytics and infrastructure tools below.
- Google Analytics 4. Pages you view, how you arrived, approximate location (derived from your IP address, not stored as a precise location), device and browser type, and general usage patterns. This uses cookies and similar technologies.
- Microsoft Clarity. A product analytics tool that records anonymized session replays and heatmaps: mouse movement, clicks, scrolling, and how you navigate pages. Clarity masks text you type into fields by default. It helps me understand how the site is actually used so I can improve it.
- Calendly. If you book a call, Calendly collects the name, email address, and scheduling details you provide, under Calendly's own privacy policy. I use this only to hold and prepare for the meeting.
- Cloudflare. The site is served through Cloudflare, which processes standard server and security logs (including IP addresses) to deliver the site and protect it from abuse.
- Google Fonts. Fonts are loaded from Google's servers, which means Google may receive your IP address as part of serving those font files.
Cookies
The site uses cookies and similar storage for analytics (Google Analytics, Microsoft Clarity) and for basic functionality. You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings, and you can opt out of Google Analytics specifically using Google's opt-out browser add-on. Blocking cookies may affect how some parts of the site work.

International transfers
Because the site relies on global services, your information may be processed on servers located outside your country. Those transfers rely on the safeguards each provider puts in place.

Analytics data is retained according to the default retention periods of Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity. Booking information is kept only as long as needed to schedule and follow up on our conversation.
Children
This site is not directed at children and is not intended for anyone under 16. I do not knowingly collect information from children.
